Thrifting at its Finest :)

My husband is a good man. He puts up with a lot of stuff that most people wouldn't. Like the fact that our front bathroom has been torn up for oh about 2 and a half months. And that I go through our bank statement and highlight all the silly things we pay for that could save us money, like "foreign ATM charges". He doesn't say a word when I ask him to use less toothpaste because it doesn't take as much as they show on the commercials. So when I read that a half of a dryer sheet works just the same as a whole one, he just rolled his eyes and laughed while I cut them all in half.

No but really, think about how much LESS often we could buy those things! He was kind of skeptical when we first got married, and I gave him my speech about how 1) powder laundry soap is cheaper than liquid and 2) the company that makes the soap puts those marks on the scoops to get you to use more so that you have to buy it more often. So we only use about half the "suggested" amount of laundry soap and our clothes are JUST AS CLEAN.

Just cut em in half and put them back in the box the same way, and they last twice as long!
