:) :) :) My Silhouette Came Today!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And if you couldn't tell.... I'm EXCITED!

The kids come back to school tomorrow, so I have plenty of other things to be thinking about, but I couldn't just let it sit there. It was calling my name!

All the goodies - cutting mats, cutting blades, cords, and a $10 gift card to the design store

I bought this package of cardstock at Hobby Lobby for 40% off!

And designed my first project on the software on the computer

Put my paper on the cutting mat and sent the project to the Silhouette!

The cutting mat is sticky so it holds all of the tiny little pieces in place

And all I had to do was pull off the original paper

I used the original paper and attached a yellow piece of cardstock behind it and TADA! A sign for my classroom of my top five classroom rules!

I learned REAAALLLLY quickly that the bigger the design, the easier it is to work with :) I can't wait to show you what all I have in store for this handy dandy machine! And once I get some rolls of vinyl, it's on. This house will be covered in vinyl lettering from head to toe - so watch out!
