Fun Weekend - But No News On The Bathroom...

My mom and Bob went out of town for a long weekend, so we kept their dogs, Dudley and Daisy. They brought them to our house on Wednesday night (in the pouring rain) so that they could leave for vacation on Thursday. Let me tell you: three spoiled rotten dogs in one bed with two people is an adventure! Here are some pics of the chaos fun.
Me and Dudley :)
Excuse Huey's demon eyes. Dudley and Huey having a standoff over the racquetball.
Normal Huey and Daisy - lots and lots of kisses!
Huey in his rain jacket - he isn't a fan!
After lots of fun and napping during the day, the dogs were quite a handfull at night. Always wanting to be in Dudley and Daisy's business, Huey was not good at sharing "his" bed. There were lots of up and downs, in and outs, and a very cranky Mattie throughout the night! Overall the dogs had a blast, and they loved the doggy door during the day.

One of Charlie's students - Annie Jo - gave us six tickets to the OSU vs. Troy football game in Stillwater on Saturday, so of course we had to go. It worked out PERFECTLY because we were able to take all the dogs with us and stay at Mom and Bob's on Saturday night so that they didn't have to drive back to Midwest City on Sunday when they got home. Perfect! We gave two tickets to some friends of mine in Stillwater, and the other two tickets went to two very unlikely fellows. My principal, David Dooley, and the Freshman Counselor, Doug Kretchmar - two huuuuuuge OU fans joined us in Stillwater for some Cowboy Football. We had a blast introducing them to all the Stillwater ways and the proper ending to the song "Oklahoma!" The sea of orange was just as I remembered it, and it was so fun to sing the Alma Mater for the first time since my graduation. We went down for the Spirit Walk - my favorite tradition, and screamed and yelled at Gundy and the cowboys (like usual) for all the fumbles, turnovers, and penalties. Luckily, Troy played just a tiny bit more awful than we did, and we pulled out a win... boy was it stressful!! Here are some pics from the game :)
Brandon Weeden at the Spirit Walk!
Me and Charlie before the game
This is Mr. Dooley - Freshman Principal - I have to give him a little credit because he at least wore orange!
But he wore his Choctaw hat, and refused to do "Pistols Firing!"
Mr. Kretchmar - Freshman Principal - still a skeptic, but he had fun!
My favorite part - the sea of orange!
Thanks for the tickets Annie Jo - we had a blast!!!!

It looks like you were only sitting one section over from where we sit!! Wish I could have seen you there! And it looks like all the dogs had a great time. =)
